It’s been 12 months since we launched our five-year Diversity and Inclusion Strategy, Level the Table and six months since we last updated you on our progress. We’re pleased to share our 12-month report with you this National Inclusion Week!

Designed to tackle inequality in table tennis, Level the Table is the foundation from which we will achieve our overarching ambition of being a world leading National Governing Body, delivering a diverse and dynamic sport that transforms lives, connects communities and achieves excellence.

Reflecting across the first six months since the strategy launch, we released our first progress report in April this year. In this, we outlined some of our key milestones in our commitment to work towards gender parity across all areas of the sport. You can view this report here.

We have decided to release our 12-month report to coincide with National Inclusion Week. This year’s theme, Time to Act: The Power of Now, is all about the importance of taking action on inclusion – our 12-month report is a culmination of the continued and persistent action we have made as an organisation over the last 6-months, and we are proud to share it with you this week.

We would also like to acknowledge that, whilst we have much to celebrate in our progress against the Level the Table strategy, there is still lots of work to be done. We acknowledge that a sustainable culture shift takes time, but we are dedicated to the journey we’ve started.

Take a look at the 12-month report below.
