Welfare Officer role
The Welfare Officer needs to have good listening skills, be diplomatic and discreet. They do not need to be a table tennis player.
The Welfare Officer within a sports club has primary responsibility for managing and reporting concerns about children / adults at risk and for putting into place procedures to safeguard children in the club.
