Ping! partner support and resources

We get people more active by bringing table tennis into everyday spaces.

What is Ping!? – an overview

Ping! is built around the simple concept of taking ping pong to the hearts of communities and places people already spend time, removing the barriers to participation and making the game more visible, accessible and relevant than ever before.

Table tennis is unique in that it can be designed into everyday life and played by people of all ages, genders, abilities and ethnicities.

Evolution of Ping!

Led by Table Tennis England, Ping! has evolved from a four-week street table tennis festival, into a family of sustainable programmes that can be used to positively impact members of the general public drawing out government outcomes of Physical Wellbeing, Mental Wellbeing, Individual Development, Social and Community Development and Economic Development and upon people’s activity levels. Ping is perfectly positioned to support outcomes identified within Sport England’s Uniting the Movement 10 year vision.

The Ping! programme offers a family of projects, used to positively impact members of the general public and strategic objectives of a town/city or local community. It includes; public tables in places such as parks, cafes and train stations. We work with shopping centres to set up Ping Pong Parlours and carry out targeted engagement via Ping in the Community, taking tables tennis to places like care homes, youth clubs and other key community venues.

We encourage potential partners to think carefully about the most important goals for your service or organisation and your audience, then decide which projects and level of engagement with Ping! is best suited to your needs and can deliver against your strategic objectives.
