Liam Pitchford will start his campaign at the Europe Top 16 against Tomislav Pucar of Croatia.

The draw in Montreux paired England’s No 1 with Pucar, who was the last name to be drawn. The match will be played at 3.20pm UK time on Table 2.

The winner of the tie will face the winner of the match between top seed Truls Moregard of Sweden and Yang Wang of Slovakia.
