A trio of young England players reached the quarter-finals at the WTT Youth Contender Spa in Belgium.

Kacper Piwowar, Adam Alibhai and Abraham Sellado (pictured left to right above) all made it to the last eight of the under-13 boys’ singles.

Although none of them was able to advance to the semi-finals, they played solid matches – Sellado holding a match point at 10-9 in the fourth before losing to Nolan Johnston of France in a decider.

In the same age group, Dimitar Dimitrov and Sinan Surensoy went out in the group stage – the former picking up one victory.

Both boys were also in the under-11s and picked up a group win apiece, but it was not enough to take them through.

In the older age groups, Connor Green reached the knockout stage in both the under-19 and under-17 singles, going on to reach the last 32 in the latter.

Jakub Piwowar and Larry Trumpauskas also got through the groups in the under-19s, though Louis Price and Toby Ellis did not advance.

Piwowar also went through in the under-17s, as did Ralph Pattison, while Joseph Hunter and Trumpauskas exited in the group stage.

Pattison and Kacper Piwowar reached the last 32 of the under-15s, while Sellado got to the last 64. Alibhai went out in the groups.
