Table Tennis England is advertising for three Non-Executive Directors, one of whom must be independent.
The vacancies have arisen as three directors are coming to the end of their first four-year term. Directors are eligible to serve two four-year terms consecutively. The incumbents are able to apply, but the Board would also like to encourage anyone who is interested to submit their application.
In accordance with the Articles of Association and the Code for Sport Governance, at least a quarter of the Directors on the Board must meet the criteria to be defined as ‘Independent Directors’.
At least one of these appointments will be for an Independent Director, but this does not exclude current members or players from applying, as an applicant is defined as independent if they are free from any close connection to the organisation.
With the return to play gathering pace as we move out of coronavirus restrictions, this is an exciting time to join the Board and play a part in shaping the sport’s development in the years ahead.
Applications close at 11.59pm on Wednesday 12th May and virtual interviews will be held week beginning 17th May.
