Clacton & Dist: Neck-and-neck at the top
The title fight in Division One of the Clacton League is the closest it’s been for many years, with little to choose between Brotherhood A and Nomads Lions.

Any lingering hopes Sudbury Nomads may have had of wresting Netts A’s Braintree Table Tennis League title from them were emphatically extinguished when the two met for a second time.

There’s little to choose between Holland Hurricanes and Nomads Leopards in Division Three of the Clacton League, as was evidenced when they met this week, the match ending all-square.
Burnham & Dist: Squirrell a help and a hindrance to title-chasers
John Poysden, the Fambridge captain, wasn’t sure whether to curse or cuddle Mapledene’s Liam Squirrell this week.
Clacton & Dist: Simon’s super subs deliver the goods
It was a makeshift Brotherhood B side which faced Walton A in Division One of the Clacton League but the Brotherhood Club’s strength in depth was fully demonstrated when the ‘B’ team fielded two reserves and still ran out 7-3 winners.
Braintree League: Handicap cup full of upsets
In six of the eight matches in the second round of the Braintree Table Tennis League handicap cup, it was the lower-ranked team who came through.
