Table Tennis England has partnered with Feedz, an AI-powered platform designed to help coaches give fast, personalised and impactful feedback to players.
Feedz lets coaches record a voice note, which it instantly converts into a structured, professional report for players, parents and colleagues – saving hours of admin each week while improving engagement and performance.
The partnership will give around 700 table tennis coaches across England discounted access to the platform, supporting more consistent coaching across grassroots clubs, talent pathways and performance programmes.
The Table Tennis England performance team is already using the platform – look out for more information soon about the planned roll-out to our coaching community.
How does it work?
High-quality feedback is widely recognised as one of the strongest drivers of sportsperson development, but producing regular written reports can be difficult for coaches managing large groups alongside busy training schedules.
Co-founded by England footballer Harry Maguire, Feedz is already used across a range of sports, including Premier League football clubs and international sides, a host of County Cricket Clubs – and sporting organisations in the American college system.
Feedz combines voice technology with sport-specific AI to streamline the process. In just three simple steps: coaches record their observations; the platform generates a structured performance report in seconds; then the feedback report can be shared instantly via PDF, email or a messaging platform like WhatsApp.
By reducing time spent on administration, the tool enables coaches to spend more time supporting player development.
Evie Collier, Coach Learning and Development Manager at Table Tennis England, said: “Consistency of high-quality tailored feedback is a big challenge for us. Using Feedz enables players to receive clearly aligned direction and it’s so accessible for coaches to record voice notes, which provide feedback on the go.
“It will allow our coaching community to build consistent development standards across the pathway, driving up the quality of players across the sport. We’re really excited by what we can achieve with this partnership.”
As a parent of children taking part in grassroots sport, Feedz co-founder Matt White identified the need to make feedback easier for coaches whilst maintaining intrinsic motivation in young people to practise their sport more.
Matt White said: “We’re delighted to support Table Tennis England’s coaching community and help enhance the delivery of its 700 coaches and development of its 30,000 members through more consistent coaching feedback.
“Usually there are multiple players to one or two coaches during practice sessions. We knew the technology existed to solve the problem of coaches having insufficient time to provide valuable reports while, at youth level, parents often had little visibility of how their child was progressing.
“Feedz turns voice notes into clear, structured reports in seconds. It supports coaches working across grassroots sport, schools, academies and professional environments, helping improve communication while reducing dreaded time-draining admin workload.”
Feedz is available now on iOS, Android and web, giving coaches a simple way to provide personalised feedback, saving time and supporting player development all through clearer communication.
