Junior Boys

Friday 10 July – Sweden v England
The Junior boys opened their account back in the top tier of the European Youth Championships with a 3-0 defeat to Sweden. On face value, it may seem like one sided affair, but it was anything but. Abraham Sellado only managed to take one game off of Noa Dahlstrom, and after that, Max Radiven played out a very close encounter, finding himself 2-1 up, before ultimately succumbing to Adam Wallin’s comeback, as the Swede won 3-2. The widest margin of points at the end of each game, was only 3 points. Captain Isaac Kingham showed his resolve, coming from 2-0 down to William Bergenblock, but ultimately fell just short, as the final game ended 11-7, handing Bergenblock and Sweden the victory.
