It’s Finals Day of the Mark Bates Ltd National Championships, with no fewer than seven national titles to be won. Here’s everything you need to know to follow the day.
We’ll be streaming all day on our YouTube channel, beginning with the Women’s Singles and Men’s Singles semi-finals from 9.30am.
Then it’s finals all the way from 1pm, beginning with the Mixed Doubles, followed by Para Class 1-5, Women’s Doubles, Men’s Doubles, Para Class 6-10 and finally the Women’s Singles and Men’s Singles.
It could be a historic day as Paul Drinkhall goes for a record-breaking 16th Men’s Doubles title, and Tin-Tin Ho stands two victories away from winning her eighth Women’s Singles title and surpassing the record of Jill Parker MBE.

18.46: Tom Jarvis is crowned the 2026 Men’s Singles Champion having defeated Sam Walker 4-1 (11-9, 11-13, 11-9, 11-7, 11-7).
18.45: Championship point! Defended by Walker 10-7. Championship again…and this time Jarvis gets over the line.
18.44: A stellar point and Jarvis extends his lead to 9-6. Are we on the verge of crowning our champion?
18.41: Time out called by Walker as he drops behind Jarvis 7-4.
18.38: A flurry of quick exchanges in this fourth and vital game sees us sat at 3-3.
18.35: Game point Jarvis and he converts it and takes the match lead 3-1. He is now just one game away from the champion’s crown.
18.05: It was Jarvis who made the decisive moves and took the first game 11-7 in this best of seven final.
18.00: In a back-and-forth encounter, it’s 5-5 in the opening game as both players seek to gain the upper hand.
17.56: The Men’s Singles Final is now underway between Tom Jarvis and Sam Walker.
17.37: In taking that win, Tin-Tin Ho has become the outright record holder for Women’s Singles titles with eight.
17.34: It was the third bite of the cherry that enabled Ho to take the crown as she won the final game 11-8.
17.32: Match point Ho!
17.31: Back from the break and back in the swing of it. 9-6 to Ho.
17.29: Time out for Ho. She held a 7-3 lead but Yu has started to peg her back. The score sits at 7-5 in this fourth game.
17.27: Game four and Ho leads 6-3 and is really putting Yu on the back foot as she takes control of the game and seeks to close out the match.
17.23: Ho turns it up a notch to win three points on the bounce. She takes the game 14-12 and establishes a 3-0 lead in the match. One more game and she will make history!
17.22: They’re battling it out here. Yu leads 12-11.
17.19: Yu has taken the lead and holds a 9-8 advantage as she seeks a way back into the match.
17.16: The third game has picked up where the second left off, Ho leads 5-3 but Yu is more than pushing her to be at her best for the lead.
17.13: A stunning rally and Ho takes a 2-0 lead in the match.
17.12: The time out has quelled Ho’s charge as she moves to 10-9.
17.10: Ho brings it back to 8-7 and Yu has called a time out.
17.07: 7-2, can Yu take this lead and convert it into the game to bring it to 1-1?
17.06: Into the second game and it’s Yu who has taken command here as she leads 4-1.
17.04: If that first game is anything to go by we’re in for a treat here! Ho wins it 11-9 to take the first game in her quest for history.
16.57: And they’re off and running – first point to Yu in this best of seven games match.
16.53: Next up we have the Women’s Singles Final between Tin-Tin Ho and Tianer Yu. Ho will be going for a record eighth national title, whilst Yu will be going for her first.
16.37: He could not, but third time is the charm as he takes the third game 13-11. Match score: 16-14, 11-4, 13-11.
16.36: Match point Shilton. Can he convert at first time of asking?
16.36: This game just keeps getting better and better! 9-9.
16.34: Shilton is having none of it though, bringing the game back to 7-7.
16.31: Bayley is battling back in this third game as he seeks to stay in the match. Leading 4-3 in the third game.
16.29: Shilton takes a 2-0 lead of Bayley having taken the second game 11-4.
16.24: After a mammoth first game, Shilton takes the lead 1-0 in this match. That game ended 16-14 in his favour.
16.22: Shilton had the advantage at 13-12 but Bayley pulls him back in to lead 14-13.
16.20: This duo are seeking that crucial edge to take the first game in this best of five match. Bayley holding the lead at 12-11 calls for a time out.
16.16: Bayley has turned this first game around to lead 8-6.
16.12: The players currently on court are Will Bayley MBE and Billy Shilton in the Para Class 6-10 Final.
15.53: At the second time of asking Jarvis & Green get the match and the championship over the line to take the win and see themselves crowned 2026 Men’s Doubles Champions. The final score being 15-13, 10-12, 11-8, 12-10,

15.46: We’re at 5-4 to Drinkhall & Walker in the fourth game and it’s another tight one that’s full of fireworks for the crowd. This quartet certainly know how to put on a show.
15.42: 10-8 to Jarvis & Green and with game point they seal it with a down-the-line winner. 2-1 up and looking to take the title with this next game.
15.37: This is a tight one! 6-6 and neither side allowing the other to pull ahead as the game edges further forward.
15.37: More fast action in this third game sees us sit at 3-3. Both pairs are fighting fire with fire as they go all out for the title.
15.34: Not quite as long as the first, but game two of this best of five match didn’t disappoint either! Drinkhall & Walker taking it 12-10 to equal up the match score at 1-1.
15.32: It’s a similar story to the first game, having been down 8-4, Drinkall & Walker have pulled it back to lead 9-8.
15.29: Picking up where they left off, Jarvis & Green have taken the lead in this second game and are looking to extend that into taking the game.
15.26: There we have it, game one of this best of five match is with Jarvis & Green (15-13).
15.25: We’re still going in this first game as the score ticks to 14-13 in favour of Jarvis & Green
15.22: Six points on the bounce for Drinkhall & Walker sees them game point up on 11-10.
15.20: Play is well and truly back up-and-running here in Nottingham, with Jarvis & Green game point up in the first at 10-7

14.54: At the third time of asking it’s a winner from Ho followed by a hug with Earley as they become the 2026 Women’s Doubles Champions, defeating Pashley and Jetha 11-0, 11-4, 11-7.
14.54: Match point Ho & Earley but it’s Pashley and Jetha who win two on the bounce to make it 10-7.
14.53: A crunching forehand winner from Earley gives her and Ho a 7-4 advantage.
14.51: This third game is going the same way as the first two, as Ho & Earley move into a 5-2 lead following a quick succession of points.
14.49: A closer game (11-4) that one but the same result as Ho & Earley take a commanding 2-0 lead. They just need one more game to be crowned 2026 Women’s Doubles Champions.
14.48: This second game is certainly more of a contest but Ho & Earley are proving too strong for their opponents as they move into a 7-3 lead and edge closer towards the title.
14.46: And Pashley & Jetha have their first point of the match, quickly followed by their second as the score sits 2-2 in this second game.
14.44: That was quick! An 11-0 sweep in the first game for Ho & Earley is a commanding start in this best of five match.
14.42: It’s an early lead for Ho & Earley (4-0) as Jetha sends one into the back of her partners head.
14.40: Next up we have the Women’s Doubles Final which will be contested between Ella Pashley & Sienna Jetha and Tin-Tin & Sophie Earley. Pashley comes up against Ho for the second time today having lost to her in the Women’s Singles Semi-Final, whilst Earley is also a losing semi-finalist from that competition. This is Ho’s second of three finals today having already won the Mixed Doubles title with Sam Walker and contesting the Women’s Singles Final against Tianer Yu later this afternoon.
14.33: Congratulations to Thomas Hepburn as he collects his medal and trophy on the podium.
14.22: That’s the game (11-3) and the match (3-1) to Thomas Hepburn in the first of the Para Class finals as he defeats Nathan Dreyer 11-7, 5-11, 11-6, 11-3.
14.21: At 9-2 and 2-1 Hepburn, he’s taken a commanding lead that is pulling him closer to the title.
14.19: Having retaken the lead in the match (2-1), Hepburn is racking up the points in this fourth game as he settles into his grove and a 5-1 lead.
14.17: Another game (11-6) to Hepburn takes the score to 2-1. This match is ebbing and flowing between the pair.
14.10: As we start the third game, the scoreline sits at 1-1 with all to play for in this Para Class 1-5 Final.
14.08: He’s on a run now is Drayner, keeping the ball clear of Hepburn to race through the remainder of the game and take it 11-5.
14.05: As the second game gets going, it’s Drayner who’s taken an early lead over his opponent 4-2.
14.02: Hepburn takes the first game of this final 11-7. This is the first of the Para Class finals this afternoon, with the 6-10 Final being contested by Will Bayley MBE and Billy Shilton.
14.00: The players are now settled into this first game and it’s a tight-run thing in the opening game of this final. Hepburn moving into the lead 7-5.
13.52: Next up we have the first of the Para Class finals, as Nathan Drayner and Thomas Hepburn go head-to-head in the Para 1-5 Final.
13.49: The medallists collect their medals, and Tin-Tin and Sam reclaim the trophy. Congratulations to all the finalists!
13.43: Big cheers from the crowd as Tin-Tin and Sam finish their on court interview!
13.40: First time of asking, the Mixed Doubles champions are Tin-Tin Ho and Sam Walker!
13.39: Championship point to Tin-Tin and Sam… they lead 10-6…
13.38: The Greens respond with consecutive points to limit the damage to 7-3, still a long way to go if they are to successfully defend their title.
13.35: Tin-Tin and Sam put their foot down, they lead the deciding game 5-0 at the change of ends.
13.33: Connor and Anna tie the match! After some marvellous clean winners, it’s 11-9 to the Greens in the fourth. There will be a decider!
13.30: These sides won’t be split, it’s 8-8!
13.29: Connor and Anna have started well in the fourth, but it’s tied at 3-3.
13.26: The Greens turn it around! Connor and Anna win four points in a row to claim the third game 11-7. Could the comeback be on?
13.24: Tin-Tin and Sam extend their lead to move within two points of reclaiming the Mixed Doubles National Championship… it’s 9-7.
13.22: Time out called by the Greens as they trail 6-4. A good chance to recompose and focus on the next point.
13.20: Even split in the third game so far, it’s 3-3.
13.18: That’s the second game wrapped up for Tin-Tin and Sam, it finished 11-8 in their favour after the second game.
13.15: Ho & Walker have pegged them back. After that fast start from the Greens, the score now sits at 7-7 in the second game.
13.12: Having lost the first game, Team Green are on the charge in the second and have raced into a 4-1 lead.
13.10: After a neck-and-neck first game, it’s the Ho/Walker combination that have established a lead and go one up in this best of five final.
13.03: Anna & Connor Green and Tin-Tin Ho & Sam Walker will get underway shortly in the Mixed Doubles Final. The players are on court warming up.
12.25: There will now be a short break before the Mixed Doubles Final at 13.00.
12.22: We have a confirmed Men’s Singles Final with Tom Jarvis through to face Sam Walker.
12.21: Finding the edge of the table, Hunter pulls it back to 8-7 as he seeks to reduce his match deficit.
12.19: Jarvis is taking charge of this game (7-4) as he seeks to secure his place in this afternoon’s final.
12.14: Despite a flurry of points, it’s Jarvis who takes the fourth game (11-9) to establish a 3-1 lead. He just needs one more game to set up a final with Sam Walker this afternoon.
12.11: Hunter has called a time out as he seeks to turn the tide and get back into both this game and match.
12.09: With a 2-1 lead in the match, Jarvis has also taken a 7-6 lead in the fourth game
12.05: Jarvis takes it 13-11 to establish a lead in the match at 2-1.
12.03: And we’re at 10-10 in the third game.
12.01: Another tight game sees the score at 8-7 to Jarvis. Which way will this game go and who will take charge of the match?
11.55: Hunter is on the board with the match tied at 1-1. That second game went to 14-12 as both players fought to get over the line, with Hunter able to make the decisive breakthrough.
11.52: Both players are trading blows in this second game, with the scored poised at 8-7 in Jarvis’ favour.
11.46: First game to Jarvis, 11-5. Both are looking to play their way into this match, each with a few errors and winners.
11.44: In this opening game, Jarvis has opened up a lead as he has his sights set on reaching another final. 7-3.
11.39: Next up on court and the livestream is the second Men’s Singles Semi-Final between Tom Jarvis and Joseph Hunter. The winner will play Sam Walker who overcame Larry Trumpauskas in the first semi-final, 4-1.
11.33: That’s the match for Tin-Tin Ho as she takes the sixth game 11-6 to complete a 4-2 victory. She will play Tianer Yu in this afternoon’s Women’s Singles Final after she defeated Sophie Earley this morning 4-1.
11.29: This shots are flowing here in the sixth game as Ho opens up a lead, 7-3.
11.25: And Pashley takes the game 11-9. That time out played dividends as she brings the game back to make it 3-2 in this best of seven match.
11.23: That’s three points on the bounce for Pashley since the time out to take the lead at 7-5.
11.21: Pashley calls a time out with the game at 5-4 to Ho. Time for a chat with their corners before the game resumes.
11.17: Ho takes the fourth game 11-7 to race into a 3-1 lead in the match, requiring just one more game to make it to yet another final. Can Pashley get another game on the board to delay or deny her that?
11.12: And that’s the third game, a close one that saw Ho edge it 11-9 to take a lead in the match at 2-1.
11.06: Pashley is certainly taking it to the seven-time champion here, not backing away from her shots and making Ho work for every point she gets.
11.04: A dominating performance there from Ho as she gets her name on the board with the second game (11-3) and brings it back to 1-1 in the match.
11.00: Pashley has made the quicker start of the pair and takes the first game (11-5) against defending champion.
10.57: As the players battle for an early advantage, it’s Pashley who takes the lead to open up a four-point gap with the score at 9-4.
10.47: Next up we have the second Women’s Singles Semi-Final where Tin-Tin Ho and Ella Pashley will face-off for the right to do battle with Tianer Yu in this afternoon’s Women’s Singles Final at 16.30.
10.45: And we’re match point to Walker (10-2) who hits the winner and secures his final spot with a 4-1 victory. He will face the winner of the second semi-final in the Men’s Singles which sees Tom Jarvis take on Joseph Hunter at 11.45.
10.43: Time out Trumpauskas in this crucial fifth game as he faces a 4-2 deficit to Walker in this game and a 3-1 deficit in the match.
10.40: In answer to our previous question, the answer is…no. Walker claimed the remaining points in that game to take it 11-4. He now leads 3-1 and needs just one more game to reach the final.
10.38: Another tight opening to the game sees it reach 4-4 before Walker is able to pull ahead and open up a 7-4 lead. Can Trumpauskas reel him back in to even up the match score?
10.34: Two on the bounce for Walker as he converts his lead into the third game (11-9) and edge himself in front 2-1.
10.31: Having taken the second game, Walker is trying to make this third is own as he opens up a 6-4 lead.
10.27: Some big shots are starting to be traded here and Walker has equalled the match up at 1-1 having taken that second game 11-6.
10.21: The first game goes the way of Trumpauskas (11-7) in this best of seven match.
10.20: Trumpauskas has opened up a lead in this first game and leads 8-4.
10.14: The announcements have been made and Trumpauskas and Walker have made their way to court for the warm up. The winner of this match will line up against the winner of the second semi-final between Tom Jarvis and Joseph Hunter.
10.10: Next up at 10.15 is the first of the Men’s Singles Semi-Finals as Larry Trumpauskas plays Sam Walker.
10.08: And that’s the match! Yu takes the final game 14-12 to take the win and secure a place in this afternoon’s Women’s Singles Final. The second semi-final between Tin-Tin Ho and Ella Pashley will get underway at 11.00.
10.06: Yu has pulled it back and the score sits at 11-11.
10.03: Earley makes a charge to get back into this match as she puts the pressure on to open up an 8-6 lead in this fifth game.
09.57: Yu converts her lead and gives herself some breathing space as she makes the scoreline 3-1 in this best of seven encounter.
09.55: The players have returned from Earley’s time out and are back to trading winners and going for their shots. Yu edges in front 9-7.
09.51: This fourth game has been a tight affair in the opening exchanges with both players playing their shots and going for the winners. 5-5.
09.48: Into the net from Earley and that’s the third game complete. Yu edging in front to lead 2-1 in this Women’s Singles Semi-Final. The second semi-final will see defending champion Tin-Tin Ho take on Ella Pashley at 11.00.
09.47: Having got on level terms with that second game, Yu is really starting to find her grove and make her mark as she takes a 9-5 lead.
