The diagram maps each age group and standard of play to the appropriate competitions, from eight-to-13-year-olds who are just entering the sport, to seasoned veterans.

It details each stage of a player’s development from entry level up to the talent & performance space – and how each stage matches up to appropriate competitions, from local leagues to 1* tournaments and onwards to 2*, County Championships, British Clubs Leagues and beyond to pinnacle national and then international events.

The Tournaments Explained document provides an overview of Open Tournaments and summarises important elements of the Table Tennis England Regulations. It is intended:
