Dimitar Dimitrov reached another WTT final but this time lost out to the top seed at WTT Youth Contender Novi Sad in Serbia.

Second seed Dimitrov (pictured above) came through the group stage and early rounds of the Under-13 Boys’ Singles for the loss of only two games and took his place in the final against Austria’s Louis Fegerl as the two top seeds clashed.

At 1-1 it was nicely poised, but Fegerl held Dimitrov at arm’s length for the next two games to clinch the title.

Fourth seeds Dimitrov & Natalia Wszolek of Poland reached the Under-15 Mixed Doubles quarter-finals, losing out 13-11 in the fifth to fifth seeds David Toro & Maya Madar of Romania.

In the Under-17s, Pablo Ramirez Rioja came through the group stage and round of 64 before losing out to higher-ranked Raul Creucu of Romania in the last 32.

In the Under-15 Boys’ Singles, both Dimitrov and Ramirez Rioja reached the Round of 16. Dimitrov, seeded 11th, lost in four games again to Fegerl, who was the top seed, while Ramirez Rioja went out in three close games to fourth seed Kuzey Gundogdu of Turkiye.
