In June’s blog, I focused heavily on the development of a new Ping Hub in Suffolk, located in Woodbridge.
Since my blog a couple of months ago, I’m happy to announce that discussions have progressed with the intention of the Ping Hub becoming operational by the end of September.
Following on from an initial partner meeting in June to hosting a Community Information Event for local organisations towards the end of July, we (at Table Tennis England) are working in conjunction with Woodbridge Table Tennis Club to now help bring the Ping Hub to life!
As part of our plan for the Hub, we will be looking to initially offer 7 hours of free to access table tennis tables, branded as 3-2Play!
Following the implementation of the programme above, additional targeted programmes will follow in the form of TT Kidz, Ping In The Community (PiTC) and Bat N Chat over the coming months.
The Ping Hub in Woodbridge is a fantastic opportunity to encourage local residents to get involved in the sport across many different programmes and I’m looking forward to working with the table tennis club and local partners to make this happen moving forwards.
If you would like to find out more about the Ping Hub in Woodbridge, I would love to hear from you so please feel free to drop me a line on [email protected]
Yours In Table Tennis
