Ransome Sporting Goods, exclusive United Kingdom and Ireland official distributors for Butterfly and owners of the Sure Shot brands, are seeking to appoint a full-time permanent Table Tennis Assistant Product Manager at their Middlesbrough office.

The successful applicant will need to have a good knowledge of table tennis, be enthusiastic about the sport and be self-motivated and be able to work on his/her own initiative.

Training will be provided. The role is office based in our Middlesbrough office with a full-time salary.

This is a unique opportunity for a person with a passion for table tennis to work in the sport for an established and prominent company that is looking to expand its presence and share of the British and Irish markets.

Duties & Responsibility

To manage all areas relating to table tennis products including:

  • Working with our sales force and customers to maximize our sales of the table tennis
  • Assist the Product Manager with the promotions of the brands, including liaising with Sponsored clubs, players and representing Butterfly at specified table tennis events.
  • Receiving and processing customer orders.
  • Deal with all customer service issues
  • Monitor stock levels.
Person Specification

Experience / Knowledge – Essential:

  • Excellent customer service kkills
  • Experience in using social media platforms

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of Sage and MMS
  • Good knowledge of table tennis and the structure in the UK

Skills /Abilities – Essential:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good numeric skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Basic IT skills

Desirable:

  • Driving Licence
