Responsible to: Head Coach

Location: English Institute of Sport, Sheffield (with national and international travel)

Contract: Full time (fixed term until the end of this cycle, 31 March 2029, with a view to continuing this post into the next cycle, subject to continued funding from UK Sport)

Salary: £28,000 – £32,000

Job purpose

The National Coach is responsible for delivering coaching as required within the World Class Programme (WCP), as directed by the Head Coach, and to take lead responsibility for a selected number of WCP athletes.

Overall, the National Coach will ensure that coaching programmes operate to such standards and with such effect as to contribute positively to the fulfilment of targets outlined in the 2025-2029 WCP strategy.
