Sam Walker & Feng Yi-Hsin were knocked out of WTT Contender Zagreb by the third seeds from South Korea.

Walker (pictured above) and his partner from Chinese Taipei – who beat Liam Pitchford at the Star Contender Ljubljana last week – sailed through the qualifying round to take their place in the main draw.

They won the first 10 points of the match against the Dutch-Slovak combination of Remi Chambet-Weil & Peter Hribar, going on to take that game 11-2. They were always ahead in winning the second 11-6, and they completed victory 11-1 in the third.

Their reward was to face third seeds An Jaehyun & Lim Jonghoon of South Korea in the last 16 and the match was well poised at 1-1 after Walker & Feng saved six game points in the second, taking their own first chance to win 15-13.
