The awards, criteria and nominations
The Pride of Table Tennis Awards gives you the opportunity to nominate volunteers for their valuable, outstanding and often unseen contributions they have given to the sport.
Pride of Table Tennis works on a two-year cycle. The 2023/2024 season is year one of the cycle where local clubs and leagues will honour their volunteers and young volunteers of the year (male and female).
Each nomination will receive a certificate for nominators to present at their club and/or league, with all nominations being automatically entered into the national stage of the award.
New for this year’s cycle is the inclusion of the coveted Contribution to Table Tennis and Lifetime Achievement award to celebrate a person’s long service to table tennis at a club, league, county or area.
All nominations will be put forward to a national panel, who will shortlist the national finalists for the Volunteer and Young Volunteer of the Year (Male and Female), Contribution to Table Tennis and Lifetime Achievement Award.
Finalists will be invited to the Mark Bates Ltd Senior Nationals in Nottingham, where they will be presented their awards during finals day.
Nominations are now closed.
