Sported membership

From the 25/26 season, Premier Clubs will be offered Sported membership, which is free, as part of their Premier Club membership status. The partnership Table Tennis England will have with Sported will enable enrolment into Sported as part of the Premier Club membership and will unlock the following benefits for our clubs;

• Access to expert knowledge from Sported’s Volunteer Consultants around business planning, fundraising or other specialist expertise
• Help generating income with funding and income generation resources and support
• Access to Sported programmes that help clubs (programmes are subject to terms and conditions)
• Help with running your club effectively and being able to access the expertise from Sported’s regional team
• Enabling clubs to be open to all and supporting your club to be more inclusive and helping increase your club membership and reach
• 24/7 access to webinars, workshops, tools and resources through the online Hub, one of the most comprehensive tools out there, all developed by experts in their field

The partnership will see close collaboration between Table Tennis England’s Area Managers and Sported’s Regional Managers which will include referrals to Sported to support the sport further and use of Sported’s expertise on the Local Organising Groups. This also puts table tennis in as a key partner for Sported.

Table Tennis England will also support those Sported members that play table tennis but may not access the wider support from Table Tennis England, including club membership, competition, coaching and officiating opportunities. The work we will do with Sported member organisations will support the growth in club and individual membership to the sport, growing the table tennis community at a local level.

I’m a Premier Club, how do I access this?

When you renew your Premier Club membership you will be sent an option to opt into Sported membership and a consent form to share your information with them. Upon doing that, Sported will then be in touch to finalise your membership with them and find out what support you may need.

Once enrolled this will be shared with Table Tennis England and we can then provide signposting information and support to you through Sported’s expert team.

I’m not a Premier Club, how do I access this?

At club renewal time, you should apply to be a Table Tennis England Premier Club. Your local Area Manager can help you through this, or our Membership Services team. Once completed, you will be given the opportunity to opt into Sported membership.
