Now is the time to have your say on a new naming convention for the events currently known as 1*, 2* and 4* tournaments, in our membership survey.
In line with the Competition Review and a more streamlined tournament landscape, we are looking to rebrand 1*, 2* and 4* tournaments from next season.
This will refresh the tournaments and ensure each level is aligned to the appropriate playing audience they are designed for – and we want the names and branding to align with this.
The naming convention should make sense to people across the table tennis community and beyond, and be intuitive, cohesive and hierarchical across the three tiers.
The new branding will aim to be more attractive to external partners and start to leverage additional investment or funding into the tournaments.
We welcome members’ input into this rebrand and are inviting players, parents, coaches, officials, volunteers and any other stakeholders to complete our survey.
