From 28 April – 10 May 2026, London hosted the ITTF World Team Table Tennis Championships Finals Presented by ACN for a landmark centenary edition, bringing the world’s best teams to compete for global glory. Across Copper Box Arena and OVO Arena Wembley, it saw elite international sport at its highest level, with China emerging victorious in both the men and women’s event, facing Japan in each final.

About ITTF World Team Table Tennis Championships Finals London 2026 Presented by ACN

64 Women’s and 64 Men’s teams competed for the world title. Stage 1a saw the top 7 teams along with England (the host nation) competing at OVO Arena, Wembley. They were drawn into two groups and competed to determine their seeding placement in the Main Draw.

The remaining 56 teams played in Stage 1b at the Copper Box Arena, with 14 group winners progressing through to the Main Draw at the OVO Arena. The second-placed teams in the groups competed in a preliminary round to determine the final 10 teams advancing to the Main Draw, which featured a total of 32 teams in knockout format.
