All 24 National Junior League (NJL) and National Cadet League (NCL) competitions involving 165 clubs and 320 teams are using the TT Leagues platform listing: fixtures, results, tables, averages and articles of the teams and players taking part.

From an organisers perspective it has made running and promoting leagues a much easier process, and as a club it’s great to be able to view your team’s results and averages on your phone during and after the competition.

Chris Parker organiser of Heckmondwike NCL & NJL in West Yorkshire said:

I love it, we’ve used it for the past two years. Previously we had to create leagues, fixtures and results manually, now I can pre-print the fixture lists saving time on the day, enter the results at the end of each round and have the league tables and averages published within minutes of the competition finishing. Having the results accessed directly for the TTE ranking scheme also saves me having to post results to TTE after each weekend. For me it makes running the competitions much easier.

Karen Tonge OBE organiser of the Halton NCL &NJL (pictured) in Cheshire said:

It’s been very well received by the clubs and players, its particularly useful being able to add and update the results each round. We promote the website to teams who can see the results on their phones during the competition, so there isn’t a need to print off copies to post on the wall.

A few leagues have gone even further posting QR codes linked to their website at the venue or even projecting the results onto a screen. A number of organisers and clubs have also regularly posted links and shared results on social media. Eddie Lynn at Birmingham TT Academy host for the Birmingham NCL-NJL has been particularly proactive with this.

Rick Battison parent of a Blackpool TTC player playing at Halton NJL said:

The format of the NCL-NJL competition is great, players get plenty of games during the day and really enjoy playing in a team competition. Being able to see the improvement in play over the season on the TT Leagues website has been marvellous.

NCL-NJL competitions held over 4 weekends, are great entry level events for local club players, which include TT England ranking points. See the map below for your nearest league. Entries for teams are open from July each year. Click here to see details of the competitions.
