Women and Girls Project Lead

Table tennis is celebrated as an accessible and inclusive sport but there is a clear gender imbalance. Increasing the number of women and girls is a key part of Table Tennis England’s #LevelTheTable strategy, aiming to increase the diversity and inclusion in the sport. Table Tennis England has set a future ambition to reach gender parity across the sport. To reach this goal, we will need to understand better how to support positive experiences and develop the right offer to engage new audiences.

The post holder will support bringing the Women and Girls strategy to life, covering a range of areas including research and insight, activation and working closely with the club network and local and national partners. For more information, please follow the links below.

Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games Project Manager

This exciting one-year post funded by the Sport England Digital and Innovation fund will manage and lead Table Tennis England’s work in the lead up to, during and post Birmingham 2022, a pinnacle event in the calendar and tremendous opportunity for the sport on many levels. There will be a particular focus for the postholder on creating a long-lasting legacy for table tennis and TTE from these ‘home games’.

Competition and Events Administrator

This role will be to provide administrative support to the Competition and Events team. To assist the events staff and volunteer coordinators to plan and deliver a national programme designed to encourage new and retain existing participants and inspire involvement in Table Tennis in accordance with the Table Tennis England Mission 2025 strategic plan.

Schools Project Officer

This role will be responsible for leading our relationship with the Jack Petchey Foundation. The Jack Petchey Table Tennis Programme is currently in its 11th year and engages around 7000 young people annually across a programme of competition, training courses, coaching and table donations. This role includes complete project management, from bid writing through to delivery and reporting.
