Do you have a partner organisation which has made a significant impact on your table tennis activities over the last 12 months? If so, why not nominate them for the Partner of the Year Category in the Pride of Table Tennis Awards?

This award recognises a partner that has gone above and beyond in their support and work with table tennis over the past 12 months. Any table tennis club or league can nominate a partner of the year, which could be a business, charity or any other organisation that may have supported and helped contribute to the success of table tennis.

Perhaps you know a partner like the Jack Petchey Foundation, which picked up the ‘Partner of the Year’ Award of the year award in 2021.

The Jack Petchey Foundation has partnered with Table Tennis England since 2010 to support the development of table tennis within environments suited for young people, such as schools and youth clubs, by financing multiple programmes and events.

In 2020, the Foundation supported more than 100 table tennis table packages for schools and youth clubs within London and Essex.

The then newly formed Hubs programme supported schools and youth clubs to become the epicentre of table tennis development within their community by running events from their facilities. This included girls-only sessions, training courses and other key programmes to form relationships with local table tennis clubs.

Peta Cubberley (pictured above), Senior Partnerships Officer at the Jack Petchey Foundation, said: “It was such a delight to be awarded the Table Tennis England Partner of the Year award in 2020.

“We are so proud of our Jack Petchey Table Tennis Programme and the way it gives young people in London and Essex the opportunity to get involved in a new sport, and the Table Tennis Regional Finals are some of our most dynamic events.

“Receiving this award gave the team a real boost during the difficult year of 2020, and we are grateful for all the work Table Tennis England does for young people.

“Getting involved in the Pride of Table Tennis Awards is a great opportunity to recognise the hard work of an individual or organisation, and to encourage them to keep going and further achieve in this great sport.”
