Congratulations to the first countries to have booked their places at the centenary ITTF World Team Championships 2026 in London!

Australia won both the men’s and women’s competitions at the ITTF Oceania Championships 2025 to seal their places at the historic event at OVO Arena Wembley and the Copper Box Arena from 28 April to 10 May, 2026.

New Zealand, New Caledonia, and Tahiti’s men’s teams also earned their spots, as did New Zealand, Tahiti and Cook Islands in the women’s competitions.

Meanwhile, an ITTF delegation concluded a comprehensive site inspection visit in London last week, with Jonny Cowan (WTT Europe General Manager), Georgia Bekyra (Ticketing Manager), Bart Vermoesen (ITTF Event Director), Mohamed Eldawlaty (ITTF Head of Events) and Event Director John Timms of MLS joining Table Tennis England CEO Sally Lockyer, Chair Clare Breigal and others.

The team conducted evaluations covering technical operations, venue configurations and sport presentation concepts, along with practice facilities and spectator infrastructure.

Meetings between ITTF and organising committee teams addressed key operational aspects, from event logistics to media strategy and accommodation partnerships. The visit concluded with both organisations establishing clear deadlines for venue documentation and technical specifications.
