Abraham Sellado won double gold and Sienna Jetha and Larry Trumpauskas also topped the podium as a group of England youngsters competed at a tournament in Sweden.

After a training camp at the Halmstad club, the squad travelled to Karlskrona for three days of competition.

Sellado won the boys’ under-13 title, with team-mate Max Radiven taking bronze, and Sellado followed up with the under-12 boys’ gold on the final day.

Jetha’s gold came in the under-13 girls’ event and she was also on the podium in the under-14s and in the under-16s, taking bronze both times. In the latter, her run included a 3-0 victory over the Euro Minis champion Siri Benjegard in the quarter-finals.

Trumpauskas won the under-15 boys’ event, in which Jakub Piwowar took bronze.

There was also a silver medal for England as Joseph Hunter reached the final of the under-16 boys’ competition, losing in five to top seed Isak Alfredsson.

It was Hunter’s second medal, having picked up a bronze in the under-18s.

Also competing were Megan Jones, Amy Marriott, Adam Dennison, Joseph Dennison, Bun Dunkley, Ben Piggott and Harry Randall, and the squad also had a number of quarter-final placings between them.
