Paul Drinkhall was beaten in a deciding game in the last 16 of the WTT Feeder Dusseldorf by sixth seed Alvaro Robles, despite leading 3-1.

Drinkhall, seeded 11th, appeared in control as he led 2-0 and 3-1, but the Spaniard, world-ranked 56, came back to win the next three and book his place in the quarter-finals, where he will meet top seed Dimitrij Ovtcharov.

It ends English involvement in the event after Sam Walker and Tin-Tin Ho exited yesterday.
