World No 15 Darko Jorgic was too strong for Liam Pitchford in the first round of the WTT Champions Incheon in South Korea.

The Slovenian was always ahead in the first game of their last-32 clash, taking three successive points to put him 8-3 up and eventually winning it 11-7.

The second was one-way traffic as Jorgic won the first eight points and lost only the next one on his way to an 11-1 scoreline.

Pitchford had hopes of a comeback as he led the third 6-3 and 9-7, but a run of four points saw Jorgic through and he next faces second seed and world Nop 3 Liang Jingkun of China.
