The destination of the Veterans’ British League, Premier Division titles will be decided at the weekend, with plenty of twists and turns in prospect.

The Men’s Premier could not be much closer, with three clubs on seven points, including defending champions Team Bribar.

Top of the pile are Topspin Fusion, just ahead of Tees Sport VETTS and Team Bribar by virtue of a slightly better ratio of individual match wins.

The top two have both won three, drawn one and lost one, while Team Bribar have won two and drawn three.

In the Women’s Premier, champions Ellenborough Ladies made an unbeaten start to their defence and stand a point clear of Foresters at the top, with a three-point cushion then to Market Rasen.

Just under 400 players will be in action in 15 divisions – most at Derby Arena, with Draycott & Long Eaton TTC hosting men’s Division Five.
