The competition begins with a group round-robin stage, ensuring all players get plenty of matches before moving on to placement rounds. The top two players from each group will advance to a knockout draw to determine the highest finishing positions. The bottom two players from each group will move into a separate draw to decide the lower finishing positions. This structure guarantees that every player continues competing until they achieve a final ranking, regardless of their earlier results. The format ensures continuous play throughout the day, providing all participants with multiple matches and a clear final standing.
The organising committee reserves the right to modify the group sizes and merge gender categories if there aren’t sufficient entries to make the event viable; any amendments to times will be communicated via email.
