England duo Sam Walker and Tom Jarvis have secured their place in the double’s final at the WTT Feeder event in Dusseldorf, and marks Jarvis’ first senior final on the international circuit.

The pair began their journey in the quarter-finals and blitzed through their opposition, beating the Spanish-Swiss combination Albert Vilardell & Pedro Osiro 3-0.

Their semi-final opponents Amin Ahmadian of Iran and Serbia’s Dimitrije Levajac put up a much stronger fight in a very tightly contested match.

Walker and Jarvis achieved their spot in the final with a 3-1 victory, but the scores in each game show how close it was with the last game going to 14-12.

Sam Walker & Tom Jarvis bt Amin Ahmadian (IRA) & Dimitrije Levajac (SER) 3-1 (11-8, 11-9, 9-11, 14-12).

The English pair will now face Japan’s Yuta Tanaka and Jo Yokotani in the final on Friday 10th December at 1530 (UK time). Watch here.
