Larry Trumpauskas is the last English player involved at the European Youth Championships, having reached the quarter-finals of the Cadet Boys’ Doubles.

Trumpauskas and partner Noa Dahlstrom, from Sweden, are they 16th seeds and they beat the fifth seeds Jindrich Moravek (CZE) & Khai Noah Lam (NOR) in three close games in the last 16.

Their reward is to face top seeds Balazs Lei (HUN) & Samuel Arpas (SVK) in the quarter-finals on Thursday afternoon.

In the same competition, 15th seeds Jakub Piwowar & Ralph Pattison were beaten in a deciding fifth set in the last 16 by Polish sixth seeds Artur Gromek & Mateusz Sakowicz.

Three English girls reached the last 16 of the Cadet Girls’ Doubles.
