A non-playing member of the England squad at the Team World Cup in London in 2018, Denise was also part of the Commonwealth Games squad which won team bronze at Gold Coast in April – where she reached the last 16 of the women’s singles and the quarter-finals of the Mixed Doubles alongside Sam Walker.
She went on to represent England at the World Team Championships in Sweden later the same year, where she picked up a number of victories against players ranked higher than her.
