Ralph Pattison was unable to win any singles matches at the WTT Youth Star Contender in Skopje, North Macedonia, but he did reach the doubles quarter-finals.

Pattison (WR 219) started against the No 119 and seventh seed Abhinandh Pradhivadhi Bhayankaram of India and went down 3-2 despite a fine comeback from 2-0 down.

He then lost a close match to Robert Podar of Romania, ranked 19 places below him, before a defeat in three straight to China’s Li Hechen (WR 148).

In the doubles, Pattison and his partner Pavol Kokavec of Slovakia had a comfortable 3-0 win over a Qatari pair in their first match, before going out in the quarter-finals to Kuo Guan-Hong & Tsai Tse-An of Chinese Taipei, who went on to win the event.
