England women safely negotiated their two ties in the first stage of European Team Championships qualifying, beating both Bosnia-Herzegovina and Estonia 3-1.

Tin-Tin Ho led the way, winning all four of her matches across the two fixtures, three of them without dropping a game.

Ho put England in front against the hosts Bosnia-Herzegovina in Sarajevo, defeating Haria Mesetovic, and Emily Bolton extended the advantage as she came from 2-1 down to beat Dzana Biogradlic.

After Ema Lovric had pulled one back for the hosts by overcoming Denise Payet in four, Ho saw off Biogradlic to complete the victory.

Ho’s toughest match saw her have to overturn a 2-1 deficit to beat Reelca Hanson in five to get England off the mark in the match against Estonia.

Bolton made it 2-0 with a four-set victory over Airi Avameri, but Payet was edged out in five by Vitalia Reinol. However, Ho sealed a 3-1 overall win with a routine victory over Avameri in three.

Estonia beat Bosnia-Herzegovina 3-0 to finish second in the group.
