Connor Green & Tin-Tin Ho secured a Mixed Doubles silver, and there was also a Men’s Doubles silver for Green at WTT Feeder Linz in Austria.
Top seeds Green & Ho, who won the Dusseldorf Feeder title back in March, had to show all their resilience to save five match points on their way to victory in the first round against Ivan Hencl & Dora Cosic of Croatia.
Their opponents won seven successive points from 3-3 on their way to taking the first 11-4. The English pair hit back 11-6 in the second, but their opponents restored their lead, 11-9 in the third, finally claiming the game after Green & Ho had saved four game points.
Green & Ho then saved two match points in the fourth and went on to take it 12-10, setting up what turned out to be a spellbinding decider. The English pair found themselves 5-0 down at the change of ends but worked their way back to 7-7. For a succession of points, they then went one in front, only to be pegged back each time up to 12-12.

Then it was the Croats’ turn as they brought up three match points, all saved, before Green & Ho took their own fourth opportunity, clinching the game 17-15.
The quarter-final and semi-final were less eventful as Green & Ho dropped only one game across the two matches, setting up a final against Jakub Zelinka & Nikoleta Puchovanova of Slovakia.
They led the first 8-4 and were also ahead in the early stages of the second, but their opponents hit back to take both games. Green & Ho won the third 11-8 and led the fourth 6-4, but a run of five successive points put Zelinka & Puchovanova in charge and they completed a 3-1 (11-9, 11-8, 8-11, 11-9) victory.
In the Men’s Doubles, it was again the first round which was closest as Green & Mateusz Zalewski of Poland took on Mael Van Dessel & Tom Scholtes of Luxembourg – Green having won bronze at the European Under-21 Championships with Van Dessel earlier this year. Green & Zalewski came from 2-1 down to win 3-2 (11-6, 9-11, 9-11, 11-5, 11-6).

After 3-0 victories in the quarter and semi-finals, the final was against Ivor Ban of Croatia and Hungary’s Csaba Andras.
The first three games saw the eventual winners lead throughout – Green & Zalewski taking the first and their opponents the next two. Green & Zalewski then came from 5-1 down to win the fourth and set up a decider.
Ban & Andras took charge from 3-3 with a run of six successive points to break the back of the game, and they went on to win 3-2 (5-11, 11-5, 11-8, 8-11, 11-5) on their second match point and take the title.
Green (WR 122) was seeded sixth in the Men’s Singles and defeated two Spanish players, Albert Vilardell (WR 300) and Juan Perez (WR 160) on his way to a quarter-final against fourth seed Ivor Ban (WR 102) of Croatia. Green won the second game to level the match, but Ban came back to take the next two.
In the Women’s Singles, Ho (WR 80) was seeded fourth and got through he first match against Austrian wildcard Sophia Pichler (WR 777) to set up a last-16 tie against India’s Divyanshi Bhowmick (WR 120), who clinched a win in three.
In the Women’s Doubles, Ho & Tatiana Kukulkova of Slovakia were top seeds but were beaten in the first round in a deciding fifth game by Taneesha Kotecha & Sayali Wani of India.
