Tin-Tin Ho, Sam Walker and Tom Jarvis all moved into the next stage of their respective singles competitions at the European Championships in Munich yesterday, with Charlotte Bardsley following suit this morning.

All won in three straight games and will top their groups as a result.

Jarvis (pictured above) defeated Luxembourg’s Eric Glod (WR 260), while Walker won against Turkey’s Abdullah Yigenler (WR 316). Ho was extended in the final game before getting past Anna Wegrzyn of Poland (WR 240).

This morning, Bardsley completed the set with a 3-0 win over Estonia’s Reelica Hanson (WR 306).

The draws for the main knockout stage will take place tomorrow night.

Also on Tuesday, the round of 32 ties will be held in both the Women’s Doubles and Men’s Doubles. Ho & Karoline Mischek of Austria will play Ivana Malobabic (CRO) & Solomiya Brateyko (UKR) in the women’s, while there are two ties involving English players in the men’s – Sam Walker & Tom Jarvis versus Tobias Rasmussen & Martin Andersen (DEN) and Liam Pitchford & Denmark’s Jonathan Groth against Lubomir Pistej (SVK) & Aleksandar Karakasevic (SRB).
