David McBeath has beaten India’s Manav Vikash Thakkar 4-3 in the Round of 64 at the WTT Feeder Westchester event to make him the last of three English athletes left in the tournament.

Paul Drinkhall went out to America’s Jishan Liang in a close 4-2 loss last night, and Tom Jarvis had to withdraw through injury against Japan’s Shunsuke Togami, who is ranked 48th in the world.
