The Members Advisory Group (MAG) has issued its Annual Report for 2020/21. The Report is available on the MAG pages of the TTE website here.

The Report describes the activities that MAG has undertaken in the last year, particularly in relation to engaging with the membership, undertaking projects and raising specific issues with the TTE Board.

Engaging with the table tennis community continues to be a key priority for MAG. We have run 15 engagement sessions involving about 150 members and volunteers. Specific projects are undertaken to provide advice to the TTE Board. Project have been completed on “Volunteers & Volunteering” and on “Clubs Development” with reports published on the TTE website. Issues raised with the Board have related to Performance and to the process of appointing Board Directors. We also suggested how the Board could engage more effectively with the membership. This led to “Ask Us Anything” on Facebook Live.

The Annual Report explains how TTE members can engage with MAG through the TTE website, via Facebook and by emailing MAG directly.

Table tennis faces a significant challenge in restarting competitive play as we emerge from the restrictions of the pandemic. Our main focus over the next 12 months will be assisting with that process. We not only need to build back – but to build back better.
