Adam Alibhai made it through to the knockout rounds in two age groups at the WTT Youth Contender Berlin.

Alibhai (pictured above) got through with one victory out of two in the group stage of both the under-13 and under-15 categories – and was joined in the latter by Isaac Kingham, who won all three of his group matches without dropping a game.

However, both boys were knocked out in the first round. Kingham was defeated in both group matches in the under-17s while, in the girls’ under-19s, Yat Poon also went out with two defeats in the group stage – though one was by 13-11 in a decider.
