Table Tennis England is delighted to announce a new and exciting partnership with GiveToLocal, the sports fundraising experts.

GiveToLocal is currently supporting the fundraising efforts of community clubs in 21 sports all across the UK, enabling them to develop long-term sustainable income.

We are delighted that through our official partnership we can now ensure table tennis clubs in England are able to get the most from the GiveToLocal model and ongoing support.

How does GiveToLocal work?

Step 1:

Get your club registered

It’s free and easy for your club officials to get your club registered. The GiveToLocal club team are on hand to assist every step of the way.

Step 2:

Share with club members

Invite each of your club members into your GiveToLocal community. Coaches, players, parents and volunteers all have free access, now and always.

Step 3:

Onboard local sponsors

The GiveToLocal sponsorship team work with you to help identify, attract and secure local businesses. Dozens of micro-sponsors starting at £10 PER MONTH, can really make an impact as they grow your community.

GiveToLocal is available to all clubs directly affiliated to Table Tennis England free of charge and their unique model encourages individuals to support their local community club from as little as £3 per month and businesses from £10 a month.

With the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games just around the corner, clubs in the West Midlands are encouraged to utilise GiveToLocal amidst the buzz around sports in the county.

GiveToLocal enables everyone to both contribute to the ongoing success of their local table tennis club and the broader local community.

Colin Eley, Partnerships Manager at Table Tennis England said: “Like everyone, the last 18 months has been extremely challenging for our clubs and the impacts will likely been seen for some time yet.

“We are therefore very pleased to enter this partnership and would actively encourage our clubs to explore how the innovative GiveToLocal model can help them to raise much needed funds.”

Claire Warner, Clubs, Schools and Leagues Manager said: “Many community based clubs struggle to make connections locally and drive engagement with a local network. GiveToLocal can help by providing those clubs with a nationally recognised technology and support that helps connect them with local people and businesses.”

Commenting on this latest National Partnership, Colin Stromsoy, Director of Strategic Partnerships at GiveToLocal said: “GiveToLocal is completely focused on doing everything we can to support community sports clubs in conjunction with other key partners. Our role has always been to offer our expertise in sports fundraising to ensure community clubs are able to develop new and sustainable income, helping them to deliver more and better opportunities for everyone.

“We’ve been talking to Colin and the team at Table Tennis England extensively over the past few months and hearing of their plans for the sport has been truly exciting. They are a great team and we are committed to doing everything we can to support those plans to enable more people to be able to play table tennis in the months and years ahead.”
