There will be 31 teams competing in the 2026/27 season of the Clacton & District League, one more than last season, with the Brotherhood Club entering an additional team. The League will once again operate with three divisions.
Division One (10 teams): Brotherhood A, B, C and G; Nomads Panthers and Lions; Walton A and B; Windsor Eagles and Hawks.
Division Two (10 teams): Brotherhood D, F, H and J; Lawford; Nomads Jaguars and Tigers; Windsor Buzzards, Harriers and Penguins.
Division Three (11 teams): Brotherhood E and K (new); Holland Hurricanes, Lancasters and Bouncing Bombers (formerly Vulcans); Nomads Leopards and Ocelots; Windsor Kestrels, Magpies and Seagulls (formerly Falcons); Walton C.
The League season starts on Monday 28 September and ends on Friday 23 April 2027. Details of the fixtures will be published on the League’s website in due course.
The Drawn Doubles Tournament is provisionally planned for Saturday 21 November, the Handicapped Singles Tournament for Saturday 6 February 2027, while the Knock-Out Cup Final will take place on Tuesday 27 April 2027.
The league’s premier event, the Closed Championships, will be held on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 April 2027 at Lift Clacton Sports Hall (formerly Clacton Coastal Academy).
