Are you already an active member of another Home Nation or an ITTF-affiliated national association? You can compete here in England without needing to purchase a full, standalone Table Tennis England membership.
A Reciprocal Membership recognises your current affiliation and unlocks your eligibility to play across the country.

If you currently hold a competitive-level membership with a Home Country Association (Wales, Scotland, Ireland, Jersey, Guernsey, or the Isle of Man), you are eligible for a reciprocal Table Tennis England membership.

Frequently asked questions
You will need to provide valid proof of your current, active competitive membership with your home association. This is usually a digital membership card, a recent confirmation email, or a screenshot from your home association’s portal showing your name, membership type, and expiry date.
No. Because your eligibility is tied to your home association, you will need to renew your Table Tennis England membership each season and provide updated proof that your home country membership is still active.
The standard option allows you to compete in local leagues and lower-tier tournaments. The ‘Upgrade’ option (Home Countries Upgrade or International Upgrade) is required if you intend to play in higher-level, nationally ranked events (such as 4-star tournaments or the Senior British League).
No. While this membership allows you to play in a number of our leagues and tournaments, the English National Championships are restricted to players who are eligible to represent England internationally.
Your points do not directly transfer, but you will begin generating a Table Tennis England rating as soon as you start competing in our affiliated leagues and tournaments. In some cases, your home country ranking may be used by tournament organisers for initial seeding purposes.
Our team reviews reciprocal and international applications manually to verify your home association status. We aim to process all applications within 5 working days.
Yes. Even though you are affiliated elsewhere, you still need a free TTE Hub account to register your reciprocal membership, appear on team rosters, and track your English results.
Our memberships run for the duration of the playing season, which is from 1 August to 31 July. Please note that because your eligibility is tied to your home association, your Table Tennis England membership will automatically become void if, for any reason, your home nation membership ends during the season.
