Max Radiven had a frustrating event at WTT Youth Contender Platja D’Aro in Spain.

The London left-hander was seeded fifth in the Under-17 Boys’ Singles and won his group with no alarms, but was then defeated in three games by Axel Bossis of France in the last 32.

In the Under-19s, Radiven was edged out 3-2, having led 2-0, by Erik Paulina of Italy in the groups and did not reach the knockout stage having also lost to Davi Fujii of Brazil.

Alongside Hannah Silcock of Jersey in the Under-19 Mixed Doubles, they were beaten in four games in their first match, the Round of 32, by Antonio Gonzalez & Julia Martin of Spain.
