Tianer Yu was unable to progress from her group in the Under-19 Girls’ Singles at WTT Youth Star Contender Metz.

The England No 2, (WR 52 Junior) defeated Jersey’s Hannah Silcock (WR 168) in her first match but was then defeated by No 26 Bianca Mei-Rosu of Romania in the second. Needing to beat Elisa Nguyen of Gwermany (WR 142) in her final group match, she lost out in four games.

In the Under-19 Girls’ Doubles, Yu & Lilou Massart of Belgium were defeated in the first round bt Camila Moscoso of Spain & Mei-Rosu.
