Become an official
Whether you’re a player, coach or supporter, becoming an official can be a really rewarding way to deepen or extend your participation in table tennis.
There are three different ways in which you can get involved, with each of the roles providing a unique way of seeing the sport from a new perspective.
Umpire
Umpires are on court with the players, officiating matches, keeping the score and keeping it fair for both sides of the table.
Referee
Referees oversee the umpires at a competition and ensure that there is fairness across all tables, helping to deliver draws, make sure that the competition is set up to regulation, and settle any disputes that arise during a competition.
Tournament Organiser
Tournament Organisers set up and manage tournaments, providing opportunities for players to compete in venues, on tables, and with the facilities that they need.
