DeaflympicsGB is searching for young athletes to join its talent pathway and compete at the European Deaf Youth Games.
The Games will take place in Hannover in August 2026 and as part of its preparation, DeaflympicsGB is currently seeking expressions of interest from Under-18 deaf table tennis athletes who may be ready to compete and represent GB at this prestigious event.
Phil Powell, Talent Pathway Manager at UK Deaf Sport and with DeaflympicsGB, said: “My role focuses on creating opportunities for deaf athletes to participate, develop, and ultimately represent Great Britain on the international stage.
“This is an exciting opportunity to showcase the talent of young deaf athletes and to strengthen the pathway towards future Deaflympics representation.”
If anyone is aware of any athletes or know someone who may have the potential and ambition to take part, please send expressions of interest directly to Phil.
