Nine young English players will go straight from the WTT Star Contender London to the Under-21 National Cup at BATTS TTC this weekend.

They include the respective top seeds Larry Trumpauskas and Ella Pashley, who have won plenty of National Championships titles between them and will be looking to add the National Cup.

Second seed in the men’s event is Joseph Hunter, who made history when he was the first athlete to win a match at London’s first WTT event.

Jakub Piwowar, Kacper Piwowar, Max Radiven and Abraham Sellado also compete in the men’s event having been in action at the Copper Box.

The second and third seeds in the women’s competition, Sienna Jetha and Anna Green, were also in action in London.

The Under-21 National Cup was launched last season to aid retention and provide a valuable competition opportunity to this priority cohort in England. It takes place at the BATTS club in Harlow across the weekend.
