WTT Star Contender London spectator information
See below for all the information you need if you are attending WTT Star Contender London as a spectator.
The Copper Box Arena is best accessed by public transport. Nearby stations are:
- Hackney Wick (Overground: Mildmay Line) – 5-minute walk
- Stratford (Underground: Central Line, Jubilee Line; Overground: Mildmay Line; Docklands Light Railway; National rail services) – 15-minute walk
- Stratford International (Docklands Light Railway; National rail services) – 10-minute walk. Stratford International is a 7-minute direct train service from St Pancras International and Kings Cross.
The 388 bus runs every 10 minutes from Stratford bus station to Blackfriars station and stops directly outside the Copper Box Arena.
There are more than 140 cycle racks outside the Copper Box Arena, including a Santander Cycles docking station located outside the centre.
There is no spectator parking at the Copper Box during the Star Contender. The nearest parking is at Westfield Shopping Centre. Click here for details.
Doors will open 30 minutes before each session. We recommend arriving early to allow time for security checks.
Your e-ticket will be scanned on arrival, please have it ready.
All persons entering Copper Box Arena will have bags (including pockets) subject to search – please ensure your bag is open ready for search.
Copper Box Arena will allow no bag larger than A4 approximately (30 cm x 30 cm x 30 cm). Any larger luggage or similar sized equipment is not allowed into the venue and customers should be aware that the venue does not have anywhere for bags or luggage to be stored.
Seating is unreserved and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Spectators may leave the venue during a session – they will be issued with a wristband by security which will allow them to re-enter the venue.

The venue will have concession stands open, providing hot food, snacks, soft drinks and alcohol. Only food and drink purchased in Copper Box Arena may be consumed in the venue.
The Copper Box Arena is a cashless venue and only card payments can be taken.
A range of food and drink outlets can be found in the nearby Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and Westfield Shopping Centre.
Don’t forget to visit the FanZone, situated in the South Concourse, adjacent to the spectator entrance. It’s free to take part and will include a table tennis robot and a table challenges with prizes to be won!
Our Official Equipment Supplier, Donic, will have a trade stand near this area, selling a wide range of table tennis equipment and accessories.

This is live sporting event with lots of cameras. Therefore, you may appear on the live stream feed, or in photographs taken by our accredited photographers.
Live streaming and recording inside the arena is strictly prohibited and may result in you being asked to leave the venue.
Photography is allowed for personal use only, but strictly no flash photography. There are no restrictions in the Fan Zone.
In addition to items which are prohibited by law at all sporting venues, please note that hanging or waving of flags is not permitted at this event.
There is a no smoking policy throughout the venue, including e-cigarettes.
