Coach membership
Coach membership is here to support coaches in their settings to better deliver for their players.
Supporting coaches
Coach membership replaces the previous coaching licence in the 2026/27 season with a more rewarding and supportive approach to coaching. While accreditation remains an essential part of coaching safely, membership is about much more than compliance. It's about belonging to a community.
Coach membership will help coaches to continue to learn, access quality resources, and be recognised for the valuable contribution they make to the sport. Our ambition is to create an environment where every coach feels connected, supported and inspired throughout their coaching journey.
To introduce coaching membership, we will be hosting two webinars online on Wednesday 19 August (7pm) and Thursday 27 August (2pm) with the Coach Development Team. They will include an introduction to coaching membership and opportunity for Q&A. Sign up to a webinar and submit your questions here.
Coach memberships will be available later in August on TTE Hub, Table Tennis England's new membership platform.

How do I access a coaching membership?
If you are a current coach licence-holder, your licence will remain valid until its expiry date. When it's time to renew, you'll need to purchase a coach membership. If you'd like to move across before your licence expires, you'll be able to do so through our transition process through the TTE Hub. You will receive a credit amount off your membership cost to cover the remainder of your licence which you have already paid for.

If you are new to coaching, you will need to complete a Coaching Assistant qualification to start your coaching journey. To access the Coaching Assistant qualification, you will first need to register for a coaching membership. This membership will remain pending until you have achieved sign off from your Coaching Assistant qualification.
