National Cups

U21 National Cup

A new U21 National Cup will be launched to aid retention and provide valuable competition opportunity to this priority cohort in England.

The first iteration of the U21 National Cup will take place on the weekend of September 28-29, 2024 and will be hosted by BATTS TTC in Harlow.

The U21 National Cup will follow a standardised format – the top 10-ranked, England-eligible, men and women will be invited and will play a full round-robin over the course of two days.

Eligible members of national squads will be required to be available for this event.

Event documentation and further details will be published in the summer 2024.

U11 & U13 National Team Cup

A new one-day annual U11 & U13 boys and girls’ Team Cup competition will be supported locally by the Pathway Development Centres, as a springboard to National Leagues. This will provide a targeted team competition opportunity for these priority age-groups at area level where critical mass does not exist at club or county level.

This event will be launched in Season 25/26.

Local League Representative KO Cup

No immediate change is proposed to the formats of ELCC (English League Cup Competitions) – a national team knockout event for the best players from local league. The ELCC Committee will be engaged to consider opportunities for evolution. Further details can be seen here: English Leagues Cup Competitions – Table Tennis England
